The Patrick O’Brian Series

The three cups, Aubrey, Maturin, and Surprise, are based on the twenty volumes of Patrick O’Brian’s English seafaring series set during the time of the Napoleonic Wars.
The books follow the adventures of Captain Jack Aubrey and his friend / ship’s surgeon / botanist / spy, Doctor Stephen Maturin. Each cup has a different map depicting some of the travels in the novels: the Barbary Coast, Mauritius, and the South China Sea.
